Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, starting a trial, subscribing to a plan or otherwise using the VBeslag service or website, you agree to these terms. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding agreement between you and VBeslag AS, Hardware House, Storgata 1, 9008 Tromsø, Norway.

Your account

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share accounts between users where your plan is licensed per seat. You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account, including actions taken by your team members. Notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorised access. How we handle the personal data linked to your account is described in our Privacy Policy.

Acceptable use

You agree to use VBeslag only for lawful business purposes and in line with these terms. You must not:

• Attempt to access, probe or disrupt the service, other accounts or our infrastructure without authorisation.
• Copy, resell, sublicense or reverse engineer the software except where the law expressly allows it.
• Upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content, or data you have no right to use.
• Use the service to send spam, malware or to overload our systems through automated requests.

We may suspend access if we reasonably believe your use threatens the security, integrity or availability of the service for you or other customers.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed in advance on the cycle you select, monthly or annually, at the prices shown when you subscribe. Unless stated otherwise, prices exclude VAT, which we add where applicable. Subscriptions renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of your current paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change prices for future billing periods and will give you reasonable notice before any change takes effect. Free trials convert to a paid plan at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.

Intellectual property

VBeslag, including its software, design, trademarks and documentation, is owned by VBeslag AS or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service during your subscription. You keep all rights to the data and content you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process and display that content so we can provide the service to you. Any feedback you share with us may be used to improve the product without obligation to you.

Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work hard to keep VBeslag reliable, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose beyond what these terms and applicable law require. Hardware specifications, part numbers and pricing data you manage in the service are your responsibility to verify before you quote or order. To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these terms, fail to pay due fees, or use the service in a way that creates legal or security risk. On termination, your right to use the service ends and we may delete your data after a reasonable retention period, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. You can export your data before your account closes; contact us if you need help.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes to the service, our business or the law. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the service before they take effect. Continuing to use VBeslag after the changes take effect means you accept the updated terms. The current version always applies and supersedes earlier ones.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and subject to any mandatory consumer protections of the country where you are based within the EU/EEA. The courts of Tromsø, Norway have jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in full effect.
